Adding LR to an existing tank

I have a 180G Reef that has been set up for about 2 years. I would like to add about 80lb of cured rock to the display. If I order LR online can I just put it in the tank? And what is a good place to order LR? I have looked at the RC sponsers and it looks like Reefer Madness has pretty good rock from the pictures.

put it in a seperat tank for a bit, check ammonia levels, if all 0 for a couple days , put em in. THats wut i do

yea, if you have the capabilities, add a few pieces of rock at a time. monitor your levels then add more. make sure you keep the extra rock in a container that will keep it live (heat, pump, etc)
