Adding new clownfish to established old one?

So a number of years ago I bought these 2 clowns, they were very small at the time. I had them together from the start and they were always together. They went from a 30g to a 125g and then to a 180g which they were in for about a week. One morning I find one of them on the floor, stiff. So I decided that I needed to get screens for the new tank and a new clown fish. Yesterday my wife and I bought a very small ocellaris clown to go with the other. I plan on putting it through the normal QT process and then finally introduce it to the big tank"¦but I'm kind of nervous"¦

The other is obviously full grown and this one is very small (less than an inch). I know this can go a few ways but would anyone be comfortable adding such a small clown to a large one? I was looking for a healthy small one, but the LFS only had these super tiny ones.

I haven't tried to feed it yet, but when I get home tonight I'm going to try chopped mysis and a few smashed NLS pellets and see what happens.

Yeah I've only had them. I just tried feeding him and the lyrtails all ate but he would take a small piece and spit it out. He might not be ready to eat so I'll see what happens tomorrow (and I won't soak the mysis in vitamins).

I lost an ocellaris too, so I'm following this thread. The pair had been together over a year, but they were roughly the same size. Thanks!

Mine were together for 4+ years I think. I'm hoping this goes well the new one is so small. They'll finally meet in the big tank hopefully in 4-5 weeks. Once it eats I'll start TTM with prazi. He didn't eat today so hopefully tomorrow.
