Hey guys,
My tank has been cured for a while and I've had some chromis that are ready to go in. But I've realized that even with a cover on top of the overflows, the chromis look easily small enough to get sucked through my overflow teeth. They're about 3/4" in length and easily slim enough to fit between the overflow teeth.
I cant see into the overflows from the side of my tank (painted black), and I can't see down into my overflows without taking the canopy off, and I can't take the canopy down without a serious helper time... so I really need to make sure fish don't get into the overflows because I know its going to be a huge ordeal to get them back out.
Should I keep them in my refugium for a while, which has a much finer strainer? How long will it take my chromis to double in size?
