Salt. Use a good salt and you shouldnt have any need for additives assuming you're doing regular water changes. I've had tanks completely loaded with softies (3 large leathers, tons of xenias, gsp, zoas and palys, shrooms, rics, and even a fair few lps) and i've never had to dose anything. I used reef crystals salt and that worked great for me

I have tried all three and can tell you the results have been great.

honestly in the past 15 years of keeping softies, the best advice I can tell you is keep busting those monthly water changes. I don't add any additives in my softie tank but sps.. another story.
