Due to a couple of cracks in my 15H frag tank, I've had to replace it. It's plumbed in to the system. And I'm rethinking things. Now, I want to take the frag tank below the display tank and make it a refugium and grow cheato. Right now I have chaeto growing in a hang-on refugium. I'm gonna put my frags in the hang-on, which has a 70W MH light over it now. It's smaller for frags and the other tank will hold more cheato, which has to be more beneficial.
My question is: Right now in the hang-on refugium is a DSB which has been there about 2 yrs. Do I want to keep the old DSB in the hang-on when its become a frag tank, or replace the DSB with rubble, or do a new DSB. What would you do?
