Advice for setting up a non-drilled tank

Hi, I just wanted to hear from people who have tanks that are not drilled.

I purchased a used 135gal set up, its pretty much complete but it I currently don't have a sump/refug. I just wanted to hear what others have done.

Are syphon overflows very reliable?
Do internal refuguims work well?
Any tips?
I am not sure if the glass is tempered, it might not be but its somehting I really don't want to take a chance on.

I currently have a eheim wet/dry canister, and the skimmer the person before used.. red sea prism pro. I plan on getting a better skimmer, I had my eye on a tunez 9010.

I also have about 140lbs of live rock, I want to get another 30lbs or so in the future.

Any suggestions?

I have a Lifereef overflow, and it's very reliable. It doesn't rely on pumps, so I don't have to worry if I lose power. They're a bit pricey, but I'd buy one again. A sump is definitely a good idea, and if you don't want to take a chance drilling the tank, I'd definitely suggest some sort of U-tube overflow.

Some siphon overflows are reliable, some are not. The Lifereef is the best out there. Another option is to drill the tank. You drill the back panel, not the bottom. You can get a drilled overflow kit from http://glass-holes.com/. They also have videos on the site that show you how to drill and install. Its much easier than you would think.
