advice on harlequin tusk

i have a large upgrade in the near future and plan on housing a harlequin tusk. but im alittle unsure of a few things. more specifically, clean up crew. i was thinking a could house a few gobys to keep the sand stirred and i know the tank will have several tangs, which im hoping will keep the rocks clean.
but then im wondering a few things. will it be at all effective to have my clean up crew in the sump, refugiums, and frag tank? also im wondering how HT's can eat a snail like astrea. i can understand a beaked fish being able to do this but can a HT really crush and eat a snail? or when people mention ht's eating inverts, are they just refering to shrimp, brittles, etc?
any advice from any HT owners out there?

snails and hermits should be low on their menu, but they do have some wicked teeth and if they had a mind to it wouldnt take them long to extract tasty goodies from a shell.

i had a tusk in my 90 for over 2 yrs and he never touched my shrimp or snails. I guess he was an oddity. they are a great fish though!

My tuskfish used to knock snails off glass and rocks then grabs them by the foot and shake them around. Hermits stayed out of sight till lights out and he went to sleep usually. He left my giant turbos alone (ridiculously big) but astreas , trochus and the occasionaly nassarius were all fair game.
