Advice On leveling tank

I am in the process of setting up a 210 that is 7ft long. The stand is level and touching on all 4 corners. However, there is a 1/4 gap in some spots in between. This is a very sturdy stand but Im not sure if contact to the floor is more critical than being level. If so, what is acceptable as far as % contact ? I'm a machinist by trade and maybe im being too anal about this but the idea of 210 gallons of water dumping if the tank cracks doesnt excite me !

You can put the tank on a peace of foam. When the tank is on it, does it touch the stand all the way around.

Not sure on the percentage, but I would wood shims every 6 inches to be sure.
