Advice on Pumps and placement in Cube

I have a 36x36x30 Cube with Center overflow. The Acrylic is 1/2" thick. Mostly Softies, LPS and Nems, but will be getting into some SPS. I run 2 MP40 wireless at 50% Lagoon. Both are located on the back wall because I did not want to see any cords. 1 is located top left approx 4" from top and the 1 bottom left approx. 8" from bottom.

I also use an internal Mag 18 running at full that are aimed at the backwall.

My question is should I stay with the 2 MP40's or should I trade them and get 4-MP10's. And place them all on the back wall 2 on the left and 2 on the right.

What would you do?

IMO, I'd stick with the MP40s. The MP10s aren't "approved" by Ecotech for 1/2" glass or acrylic, so there may be an issue with them falling off. I know a few people who have done it though. I think the MP40s flow is so much better than the MP10s. Do you have them running on anti sync? What about splitting your Mag18 return and Tee it off to provide more flow to the front of the tank? Just some thoughts. I agree with you on not seeing cords. All my MP60s are on the back wall of my cube.

I'd look into the Maxpect Gyres.....they look promising but I have no experience with them...
