bio cube has been cycleing for 1.5 months with live rock, live sand, and rep cycled water from lfs. after monitoring parameters for about a month ( all zero now) i add 5 hermits, 2 emerald crabs and 10 snails. all is well. i did a 5 gal water change tuesday. is it safe for me to add 2 clown fish tomorrow?

My 29 gallon has been up and running for six months. I waited until my levels were undetectable, waited a lil more, then added things one week at a time. Add the fish if you feel comfortable with it.

Yeh, you should be good to go, clowns are tough fish. I wouldn't add any corals just yet though. I wait until i know i won't have a bacterial bloom (all your water turns milky for a few days) to add any inverts or corals. I also heard that with live sand you should be sure to add something that will produce some sort of waste within a week. From what i was told, if you cycle for too long without adding anything to the tank, the bacteria in you live sand will run out of a food source.
