after copper do you have to "rinse" your fish?

ok so dont take me literally. im not implying wanting to put the fish under the kitchen faucet, lol. what im saying is that i have a blue tang in treatment with copper "cupramine". i plan to keep it like this for anther 48 hrs, till i go out of town till the 4th. before i go out of town i ant to put him back in the fuge in my display tank so all the params will be ideal while im gone. wheni return i want to put it back in the smallish hospital tank and continue the copper treatment while i can have and eye on it. my question is, if i have it in copper solution now, what do i have to do to the fish when i want to put it back in the fuge tomorrow before i leave? do i have to put it in a freshwater dip or something?

You might want to rinse the fish to keep the copper out of your fuge and to wash off any weakened parasites. I did it with my clown fish when I gave it a formalin bath. It wasn't too stressful.

ok yea, thats what i mean. because i dont want to spread the cppoer obviously to my reef tank where hes suposed to be going. is there any risudual copper left on the fish after treatment or will a couple freshwater dips and a saltwater dip before going into the main fuge be enough?

if the tank is a nano, i think just putting him in a net, then dipping him in salt water for a sec would be enough.

for a big 200g+ tank, I wouldn't worry about it. any trace of copper would likely be picked up by carbon or absorbed by tha calcium based rocks b4 causing any harm.

it won't hurt to dip either way though.
