Agardhiella- Whats the secret?

Does anyone have experience with Agardhiella? I believe its coming in from ORA but even at the LFS that Ive been getting it from, it doesn't seem to be thriving. Definitely doesn't seem to be a viable source of nutrient export.

Can anyone offer any care tips or husbandry requirements? Ive spread it out it about three different tanks. 2 of the tanks are on my main 2500 gallon system but under different lighting (140watt LED and CFL) and the other bunch is in my reef under PC and LED and with <10ppm nitrates and reef-type parameters.

Ive tried this stuff in the past and it didn't do very well. Its a deep red, similar in texture to Gracilaria but darker and more stringy. It seems to have an iridescence under actinic LED lighting.

Does anyone know if it is coming in from ORA? If so, is it just a food source for tangs and not really meant to be sustained? I would really like to start harvesting some of this Macro but I need to know somebody's secrets to making this flourish? Iron, magnesium, manganese? High NO3 or low? what type of lighting? What PAR?
Anything anybody can offer, or a resource that someone can point me too?
Ill post a pic sometime soon so that I can verify that this is indeed Agardhiella.

Thanks in Advance!

nobody has any tips?
It seems to be doing Status Quo, so to speak, and not shrinking or doing a disappearing act. But i dont think it is growing at all.

I have it under high intensity LEDs with a very shallow oolitic sand bed and larger pieces of LR rubble. Its in a fuge tank with few other less common Macros, and im trying to keep the competition very low so that it has the best chance to proliferate. Im constantly pruning out Caluerpa prolifera strands that somehow make their way through the entire system from my other Macro Algae tanks. The C. prolifera is the best competitor in my systems and outcompetes any other algaes that are kept close to it. It could be because it is the most abundant or perhaps it is truly the most invasive for my parameters and setup. It has been the best nutrient export so far, but i need to diversify, especially for Macro that my tangs will actually eat!
