AI Blade Grow and Glow help

Ok so this is my first ever programable led light. I always used t5 lighting. Now I'm just curious if I did this right? I set up my lights on a 12 on 12 off schedule. With 1.5 hr ramp up and down. I have a 36g tank with the rock work up to about 60% of the water column. At the top I'm getting reading of 175 par down to the sand bed of just over 100 par. I plan on doing lps/soft. No sps, I chose 60% uv 60 v 60 ry 60 b and 27 cw. The tank looks very blue all day lol. Is this the right way many reef tanks look? Or did I put too much blue or not enough white etc?

Alot of blue is personal preference. Blue is beneficial but it doesn't have to look like Windex. You may want to resarch AI Blade presets. There are many to choose from.

So the Blade Grow leans heavily into the blue spectrum with only 6 cool white LED with the remaining being blue (per foot) and the Blade Glow is strictly a blue to almost purple LED set up.

Science says the blue spectrum is where peak photosynthesis occurs however, as mentioned, that does not mean you have to have a windex looking tank. If you want a whiter look, you need to bump up the whites (or add another light that has more white LEDs). Bumping up the whites will not sacrifice the blue that corals need.

With regards to presets, I’ve never used the light personally, however my understanding is Mobius is what contains the presets but also World Wide Corals also lists many presets (for many brands) on their website - LED Lighting Presets

When I comes down to it, lighting is what you visually like so there may not be a one size fits all setting. I hope this helps some!
