AI Hydra 26 or 52

I just purchased a 20x48 rimless tank and am looking at lightning. I am going to start out with lps and eventually get into sps. Would two hydra 26hds work or should I spend near double and go with two 52's? I thought I could always start with two 26's and add a third if necessary but then I'm near the cost of doing two 52's. The tank is 21 inches deep.

My philosophy is to get as much lighting as you can afford. 2 x 26's would likely be just fine and would support most anything you want to put in your system. It may not be enough for some of the most light demanding SPS or clams toward the bottom of the tank, but would otherwise be ok. If this was me, I would start with the 2 x 26's and add a third later if needed. My reasoning is that the LED clusters in the 52 are pretty close together and having 3 x 26's, though fewer clusters, will give a more even spread than 2 x 52's. I am actually working on a 75g system for my move in a few months and will be doing just this, of course I already have 2 x 26's on my 40 that will be moving to the 75.

Ok went I my LFS and bought two hydra 26 HD's with the mounts. Thanks for the info!
