AI prime light owners help plz

I just got my first AI prime today and it looks very strange to me. It almost looks like I am now looking at my tank with those old 3d glasses on that had one blue and one red lens. Here is a picture. Is this normal for an AI prime? I have tried adjusting the colors and it changes some but always has all those different color circles everywhere.

How close to the water is it? It kind of looks like you're getting a spot light effect. Too close to the water

9 inches from the water.

You have a bad light or the lenses are messed up,,,,, thats my guess. Mine is 4 inches from the water and it looks mint.

So I raised it to 10 inches and turned the pump off and the problem went away. It appears to only happen with there is water agitation. The problem is that I will always have water agitation. That should not affect it that much should it?

I have a wave maker blowing right at the surface, pretty much. Dont have this light problem with agitation and much lower hung light.

I've read shimmer is somewhat dependent on surface agitation. Clearly your light is fine if it looks good with pumps off. Play with it. You can minimize the surface agitation

Decrease the green and red lights and see if that helps.
