If you have a lot of aiptasia and some extra time on your hands, you could construct an aiptasia scrubber. Kind of a neat way to filter out particulate matter in a more natural way.

What's an aiptasia scrubber? Doug L just gave me some stuff (kalk?) to mix up into a paste & sqirt at them. I had several large ones--not no more!

I had one of those where I had all my LR and decided to keep one after doing research on how they become pest. Thought it was good idea, first time seeing something living in my LR. Now its been a week and either they were hiding and it made clones, but I have tiny ones everywhere! but they sure are fun to feed. I need to get a BTA immediately so I can stop playing with these aiptasia.

I've toyed with the idea of a scrubber, but am concered about them getting out of the scrubber and into the display. Any suggestions on preventing that from happening? The best I can come up with is a large area of "astro-turf" prior to the outlet as they are unlikely to crawl across that.

i had an aptaisia problem and added approx 30 peppermint shrimp to my display and sump... i have 0 aptaisia now.

Mix Mrs. wags pickeling lime with ro water 1/1 and send them to there grave with one or two drops from a siring.

actually i only have 2. i used joe's juice and when it caomes back it only shows 2 at a time on the same rock...i guess i'm lucky that it stays on that particular rock.
