Aiptasia... Best way!?

So i found aiptasia on a big frag plug i got 2 months ago. I need to get rid of it. I just dont know which way to use... from my research injecting it with lemon juice is the most effective, but will the lemon juice affect the PH aswell ??

Vinegar? Are you sure that wont harm anything around it? Cuz my aiptasia is inbetween a mushroom and a zoa colony.

If you can remove the frag plug you could always burn it off with a cigarette lighter. This only takes a few seconds to do.

I put 4 peppermint shrimp in my new 120g when I saw some Aiptasia appear. The next morning - it was 100% gone. Hasn't reappeared since.

1 peppermint shrimp and 24 hours later the aptasia should be gone. You can even toss the shrimp after if your heart desires, although I would keep him. His life span is short anyhow.

I've used kalk powder for all my aptasia needs. Works like a charm, no cleanup, and it's thick enough to only go where I want it to be.

You'll probably want to use a different method then if you don't want to cause harm to your corals.

Peppermint shrimp are the best if they haven't gotten large. And they have a low bio load on the tank

Peppermints is not always guaranteed.

I've never experienced them nipping at any coral. And I think it's less stressful to the tank.

Peppermints is not always guaranteed.

Yes they won't eat the largest ones. Or may not eat them if they have better food available
