aiptasia in the refugium

I have a couple of aiptasia that managed to sneak into my refugium. The ones in the main tank were destroyed by the peppermint shrimps.

Will the aiptasias be counter-productive to what a refugium is for? Will they kill any copepods that I have down there? I put in some chaeto and I havent seen any pods there at all.

I also have one small blue leg hermit, a nassarius snail, and an astrea snail in there.

They wont kill copepods. They will be ok, though personally i would just ditch them. You dont want them finding their way to the DT.

I was contemplating snagging one of my peppermints from the DT to stick down there to feed on them. Will peppermints or any of the other critters I listed in the original post kill copepods?

most likely not, best idea would be to throw one in there until the aips are gone then, return him to the display.
