I picked up a small Hippopus today with two small aptasias just on the inside part of the shell. I was told I could scrub them off with a toothbrush but everytime I try to get in there the clam closes up sealing the aiptasia in. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how I can kill these guys and not the clam in the process?
