Well I purchased a peppermint shrimp. The first night he took out 5 Aiptasia. Then after the 2nd night the biggest and last one was gone. :) Then today I noticed the bigger Aiptasia shrunken down half the size it was, at the base of a rock, apparently harassed out of its hole :p . Should I take it out or leave it for the shrimp to decide what he wants with it.

Job well done by the peppermint!

yes i hired a team of peppermint migrant workers a year ago and i have been aptaisia free for a while now
now if something only ate mojanos...

took me a team of 2 peppermints to get my aptasia down. they did such a fine job they get to live in my tank instead of going back to the LFS. the eat prime reef flake so its not hard to toss an extra one in for them.

edit
and keeping them in there will help prevent any future outbreaks. if they are confirmed aptasia eaters. you might want to keep them.
