Aiptasia

Hello everyone!
I had a few aiptasia but now I see them popping up on every rock in my tank. Anyone have any Berghia nudibranches or a butterfly they would like to get rid of or know of any easy cures. I just don't want this to get out of hand.

klien's butterfly from what ive seen and heard they are hardier and harder working than copperbands.

Peppermints are OK.. The Berghia are Aipatais eating machines.

I had a copper band that cleaned them up... Look for a store that has had theirs in the tank for a couple of weeks. If it is eating mysis, you should be okay. The pest will slowly dissapear... I hope... They did for me.

I tried Joe's Juice and it worked for awhile but they eventually came back. I tried peppermint shrimp and they are hit or miss. I tried the berghia and the current in my tank was just too much for them. I never did see where they went.

I finally got a copperband and he took care of them in a week. I have never seen one since. He does do a number on my zoas though but how they can spread it helps keep them in check.
