Air bubbles

I am new to the hobby. My tank finished cycling about 3 weeks ago. I did a small water change but I am not sure how often this needs to be done. I monitor the water conditions and they seem to be fine but I feel like I should be changing the water soon. The only things I add to the water is food and purple-up. Also, my pump seems to be sending out air bubbles. Is this going to be a problem? If so any suggestions?

Sounds like youve been re-searching some. To start off, you should be doing around a 10% water change very week or every other week. You don't need to do water changes durning the cycle process. What kind of pump are you using? The pump is getting air somehow.
