I really want to science my skimmer. Does anyone have an air flow meter similar to the one that Brian Prestwood used to have?
I got a huge GEO skimmer body from Aqua Life's garage sale. I picked up a DC12000 pump and bought the printed venturi and needle wheel for it. Sadly, the pump is the wrong make and the needle wheel won't go on it. I'm already running a DC6000 for a return pump and I'm wondering if I could get a good air flow comparison between the two pumps and determine if I should swap them. I realize I could just swap them and see how it works, but I would love to get data.
