I will be in Albuquerque Monday thru Thursday and was wondering if there are any nice stores to check out...looking to buy Zoa's and possible fish...let me know

The two best in town.

Well he did ask for nice stores...:eek1:

I didnt list Nemos Cove since every time I have been there, there is nothing on the shelves and there is nothing in the tanks.

i think nemo's cove is real nice. they have a variety of different corals and fish. i guess israel doesn't make it over there much. nemo's cove is on louisana and nenual next to chilli's. i think we should have the outsiders make the choice of which store is nice. thank israel for supporting the lfs. i think everyone should thank him

thanks israel

what will you be doing over there daniel ?

I am bowling in the 2008 USBC Open Championships on Tuesday and Wednesday

Thanks for all your help guys

wow I thought He wanted to know about stores, not just opinions..I am not biased in anyway but you cannot honestly say that Emperors is overflowing with stock!!

Besides when you work at a store you tend to be biased don't you think?

I think Nemos Cove is pretty nice too.

Clark's pet supply is also starting up a marine tank section which you can keep an eye out for in the future. I don't know how it will turn out, but Clark's has run an excellent tropical aquarium business for decades.

Yeah the Clarks Lomas store is starting up some new 75 Gallons that look pretty good if done right..unfortunately the corals dont look soo good......Although I was just at the Menaul store and their SW dept. Is looking real good since Brian is back there...They started a new saltwater area..

WOW Israel i'm surprised! No love for Gary over at Fins and Critters? I thought you supported all LFS. any way Onesaltydawg
let us all know how your trip to ABQ went; the salt water capital of the Southwest errrr I mean Bernalillo County. Let us know what you picked up and what you thought. Safe travels..

Sorry I didn't realize that everyone was so passionate about ALL the stores in town.

Dont forget;

PetCo.
6300 San Mateo Boulevard
Albuquerque, NM 87109
505-797-1910

Westside Pets
3296 Coors Blvd NW # M
Albuquerque, NM 87120
(505) 836-7387

Fish Barn
400 Washington St Se
Albuquerque, NM 87108
(505) 266-6309
This one you may want to skip as I hear it is just 10 tanks in the middle of a mechanic shop. But I have not been there.

Onesaltydawg let me know what you think of the main video board. We are trying to get the USBC to buy the lane boards like the one over lanes 49 thru 59. But there are problems with reflection that we have to resolve.

Guys... I came home empty handed from the stores....As for the board over the Roto Sport Bowling Monitors...they are way too Small and difficult to read...Reno uses the same type of monitor as the one in the center of lanes 24 and 25...hope this helps.
