Algae-eater who won't eat macroalgae?

Suggestions for an algae-eater who isn't going to eat macroalgae? I'm working on a planet tank. It's gonna have feather caulerpa and a couple of red algaes. I know an urchin will tear it apart and eat it, and I'd assume that many snails will go after it... Even my blue damsel is nipping at the feather caulerpa now and then.
I'd prefer something that isn't a fish, as my damsel doesn't take kindly to new arrivals. I just need somebody to nibble on algae and eat it down, clean the glass a bit. Small snails, maybe?
I'd kind of like if it's neat to watch.
