Algae ID

The texture like jelly.

It was found in my sump just bought some Chaeto so I guess it came with it.

It is a little bigger then a quarter

Have pulled out 4 pieces in a week. What am I dealing with.

Could it be a bacteria or a blue green algae. Anyone want a sample.

It is not bacteria or blue green algae. It looks a bit like a green hair algae or turf algae. Just keep pulling it out. It doesn't seem to be growing very fast so I would not worry.
