Algae ID?

Does anyone know the name of this algae and is it alright to leave it in the tank?

Looks like Padina. Havent heard or read to much about, and no personal experience sorry.

Yes, it's Padina, commonly called "scroll algae". It will sometimes appear in newer tanks, but usually fades as the tank matures. I enjoyed mine while I had it.

Thanks for the ID. It came on a piece of either Fiji or Tonga Huni. I set up the tank with both type rocks. It has grown quite a bit. Hopefully it will stay around for awhile.
