Algae in glass? How to remove it?

Hi all ! So I have this green film algae in the glass, I usually clean it up once a week. But the one near the bottom of the tank is almost impossible to take out. I have a flipper magnet scratch but hell its very difficult at times.

So what do you guys use?

Its there a way to prevent that from growing?

I see some spotless aquariums and I wonder how they do...

THanks for the help.

I use magnetic cleaners with a razor attachment, razor can go very close to the sand bad without the risk of sand scratching the glass.

I went to home Depot and bought a 4" scraper. Works well. The cheap one I bought at Petco isn't worth it

Very carefully? (scrathes/Mag-Float)

Algae growing on the glass between the sand and the panels ain't bad. It happens... If this is a splinter though, who knows what might happen/appear a year later? Hmm... ;)

I use a piece of original formula mr clean magic eraser rubber banded to a plastic rod, works great. Occasionally if there is anything too tough I just use a regular razor blade to scrape it off

I use a heavy duty razor blade it takes less then a hour to clean the whole tank and it seems it stays clean longer then when using the magnet cleaners.. but i use it for caraline algae no green algae in my tank .
