My first attempt at placing my bird's next resulted on it getting zapped by a hammer coral. The ends are blechef and gonzo. I moved it a few weeks ago and it is growing and happy, but there is algae on the last half inch of the coral. It doesn't seem to be reclaiming the algae zone. Do I give it time or do I trim off the ends that have algae on them?
