algea turned white??

My tank cycled for 4 months and I just added 2 ocellaris a week ago. I found that some green algea turned white. I don't know why. Would anyone please give me some hint! Moreover, what is the name of the algea.

it's probably hair algae. if it's turning white it's dieng. good for you.

oh, that's not hair algae. i have seen that before but i cant remember what it's called

That looks like a variety of halimeda algae to me ... a calcarius macro algae that needs calcium/alk/mag just like coralline.

That is Halimeda. Your tank in general need calcium and alkalinity to thrive. Please read.
