I can't seem to search this forum right now because the search engine is down so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to raise baby perculas. And is it possible to do it in my reef tank if the only fish are the two adult clowns? Will they eat the babies?

thanks that helps alot, now my question is how do u raise more fortified L-Strain rotifers and will all other types of fish try to eat the fry, including the parents?

Here is another set of articles to help answer your rotifer questions:

Most fish will eat clownfish larvae, but IME the parents will not eat them right away, but assist with the hatching process and even "fan" the newly-hatched larvae away from the nest. They will sometimes even chase other fish away that are feeding on the larvae. These activities give you more time to collect the larvae if you want/need to hatch them out in the parents' tank. The larvae must of course be removed to another tank if you wish to raise them. Hope this helps!

I have been raising percs for almost 1-1 1/2, it is tough, mine lay eggs in my reef and scoop up the babies and take them into my basement to grow. They eat lots or rotifers as do any other clown species. However it is pretty cool to watch them grow.
