Broken reefer

I just purchased 2 new hannah checkers. One for alk and 1 for calcium. I tested both twice. On the alk it was 8.5, on calcium it was 449 and 448 so real close both times I tested. My question is what numbers am I aiming for to stay out? I've never tested neither before,lol. Just finally got a little more serious into the hobby. The 90 gal tank is about 14 months old so a little over a yr. I've not had really any set backs as I did with a 29 gal jbj nano.im just trying to learn from you guys who are definitely more experienced than I am. Thanks in advance!!
