F Fmellish New member Jul 12, 2006 #2 I've heard dKH between 5 and 12 is ok, as long as its stable and doesn't change. Natural seawater is in the 8s. I'm shooting for 8. I think Ca in NSW is 300-320? The target numbers are on the instructions for the Salifert kits. I think I remembered them correctly. Cheers Josh

Billybeau1 Premium Member Jul 12, 2006 #3 War dkh is the same measument as meq/l for Alk. Yes 2.06 meg/l is 5.8 dkh but 3.44 meg/l is 9.7 dkh. Recomended alk range is from 7-11 dkh or 2.5 to 4.0 meq/l I'd say you're looking pretty good. Calcium should be around 420 ppm.
