I've purchased and installed an Alkatronic and have been charting my Alk numbers for almost a week and notice the swings and wondering what's an acceptable swing ?

Most would say to shoot for no more than .5dkh change in a 24 hour period.. even up to 1dkh has been shown to not be problematic for some.
Some say they can drop 2dkh or more a day from consumption.. (they are dosing of course to not have those actual swings.. but that is consumption)

You have absolutely no problems with those tiny changes..

Gotcha..I'm back to doing small daily water changes. The new water has a dkh of 9.0. I assume the tank is on the upswing to balancing out with the water changes. I do 1 gal each night in my 75 gal.
