Before i get going i just wanted to say it was nice to meet everyone last night.. I did not realize that there were so many reefers Around here. Sometimes i think i am on my own little planet.
So i get home last night after the meeting and say hey i might as well test before i add some new stuff in my tank........ So everything is ok... at first ph 8.2 no3 0 po4 0 Calcuim 400 a little low<forgot to dose that morning> ok thank here come Alkalinity 14...????? So i test again 14???? ok so i test some of the water from one of the frags i just got.... 8. I usually keep my KH around 10. Now i am kinda ****ed. I think when i buffered on thurs i added a little much to my top off water. So i did a water change but Instant ocean KH is like 13 anyway. I dosed some powdered reef calcium last night and am hoping that it will balance itself out in the next few days. Whats i think is funny is that my sps are getting better polyp extension than I have ever seen.
i am not getting any precipitation......Is there any problems with my dkh being this high for a few days? All my critters are happy.
