Alkalinity Range for BTA?

Hi,

How high can your alkalinity go and still keep your BTA happy?

Also what is a good brand of ca+ Media would you suggest for a Knop C?

I try to keep my alk up around 11 even with my rbta. It doesn't seem to bother it.
