All-glass Megaflow leaking - need info!

My All-glass megaflow overflow is leaking on the return. The return (smaller) bulkhead had a barb connector which has cracked at the base from strain. I'd like to reattach using the threaded part, ie the tread of the bulkhead that I screwed the nut on. Does anyone know the size? I can reach it but cannot get a good look at it, the way the tank is positioned. I thought it was one inch but cannot get that started, its not 11/4, is there such thing as 1 1/8??? Any help or other suggestions welcome. I don't want to tear the tank down, if possible.

Usually the drains are 1" and the returns are 3/4"...inside diameter.

If you are talking about the threaded piece outside of the bulkhead....I do not think there are pvc fittings that will fit it.....vinyl tubing may squeeze over it with hose clamps, but water could travel through the threads.....

You could good pvc glue on there and that may seal it, but you would never get the bulkhead nut off again.

Get a 3/4 inch bulkhead slip for the part in the overflow and slip or threaded for the other side. The bulkheads they ship seem to be a harder easier to crack plastic than any of the others I've bought. I also cracked mine off.

Thanks for the replies. The best solution does seem to be to replace the bulkhead. I have my wrench but not sure I can get in there with it, may have to take the tank down so I can take it off the stand.
