Allen's Damselfish, single or group?

I bought an Allen's Damselfish recently but I was wondering if this a fish that would do better in a group or doesnt it matter? My tank is already fairly well stocked so im not sure a group would be a great idea unless it would be for the best?

Allen's Damselfish will do very well on its own. I had a group in my 135, until there was only one. My experience with this fish, as well as other damselfish, is the group will winnow down to 1, sometimes 2 if you are lucky.

I had the same results in a 90 gallon aquarium. To bad, they are a beautiful fish.
