I have always wanted a flowerpot coral, but my lfs only carries gonioporas and I heard they are extremely difficult to keep alive. Well I found a beautiful alveopora today and I read that they are "easier" to keep than gonis. I only have limited experience in the hobby (6 months) and don't do supplemental feedings for corals. I have a low-nutrient 42g reef.
Anyways, Liveaquaria.com listed alveopora at moderate care needing low flow and moderate light. Anyone here have any personal experience with alveopora and how long did yours stay alive for?
