I currently have a cleaner shrimp and 2 damsels. I purchased the damsels right after the cycle and they are doing great. I wasn't expecting to keep them forever but I am kinda stuck with them now. My plans at first was 2 clowns and a goby, but now thats definately out of the addition question. So what do ya'll think I could add to my 14 biocube that currently houses a cleaner shrimp and 2 damsels. I would like atleast a goby, I might have to get rid of the damsels I'm thinking. Tank has great water params and been cycled for about 2 months.

I think you could get away with a shrimp goby that likes to burrow, something like a Yellow Watchman or a high fin banded goby.

I'm no pro at this but I'll give you my nichols worth: there are many diverse opinions here. I have a 12g nano now running for three years, very stable and minimum maintenance. Many would say it can't/shouldn't be done but I am successfully keeping a Coral Reef Beauty. Also have a Watchman Goby that is a symbiot with a Fire Shrimp. Two small hermits seem to be all my system sustains. Otherwise, the rock and pump is completely covered with competing zoos, several softies and a couple stonies. I am three months along with a baby Tridacna which should not be able to survive under my 64w of PC lights and 3x weekly feeding. So far...so good.

HOWEVER, imho, cycling can take more than a year to obtain a really stable environment. My suggestion is to go slow and add only a little coral, fish or inverts at a time, though difficult I know it to be.

My system is maxed out so on to a 75 this year.
