Ammonia remover media

Any ammonia remover media that won't remove meds on the market?

First, what is causing the ammonia? Find the source and that will cure it quickly. Did you add any rock or sand to the tank or are you going through the cycle? I don't know of any good media, but Prime or Amquel works well to bind the ammonia to make non-toxic.

What meds are removed by ammonia remover? The only thing off the top of my head is that ammonia remover can't be used in combination with copper. Other than that, I am unaware of any specific downsides. I could be missing knowledge here though.
