Amount of flow

Hi,

I currently have a couple of LPS, candycane, brain & one monti cap & i'm going to start putting a few SPS frags in. My current flow is 2x 900 & 1x 1200 maxi jets. I've just bought another 1200 & i'm going to remove one 900 so all in all i'll have 2x 1200 & 1x 900 maxi jets in my tank. My tank is the Juwel 190 corner bow which is approx 45 gallons. Is this to much flow or will it benefit the SPS?

I would leave the 900 in there and run all 4 powerheads. What is your return pump from your sump?

I don't have a sump just a skimmer, bio filter & my live rock

i would say its not enough.....any interestes in upgrading....whats in the budget???

you are looking for wide gentle yet alot of flow......tunzes are the best IMO but....

if you are going SPS and dont want tunze(they are pretty bulky too)....then i would look at SEIO's if i were you....put 4 Seio 620's inthere

I think it's more than enough flow for this size tank, albeit you may wish to add another mj 900.
