Amoxicillian in reef tank

Hoping someone can help me out. I made a big mistake. I had a sick fish and was told to add amoxicillan to the food. Being that the fish didn't get better, I added a small dose to the saltwater in my tank, will this affect my corals?

It will probably kill a bunch of your bacteria and might cause your tank to cycle again.

The problem is that it will kill beneficial bacteria in the tank. How much depends on the tank size, #lbs lr, sand etc...and how much antibiotic went into the tank.

I used EM tablets to combat some cyano a while back. The em tablets are erithomicin sp.? Which is an antibiotic and I saw no ill effects on my tank. My levels all stayed good. My skimmer did go crazy so you might want to keep an eye on your skimmer to make sure it doesn't flood onto your floor. By going crazy it was a gallon milk jug completely full of watery skimmate in about 4-5 hrs.
