has anyone ever tried, or come up with a way to change the color of an external flash?

Adding a filter? somethinng else?

Id love to be able to use a flash at the 20k range.

any ideas??

To change the colour of the external flash you could buy gel filters that come in a variety of colours.

If you just want something like 20k white lighting, either adjust the white balance in-camera or shoot in raw and use Photoshop to adjust the WB.

Additionally, the camera's sensors can't WB beyond 10000K anyway.
