An Introduction

Hello All,
I am totally new to the reef world. I have in the past kept and bred many species of fresh water fish but never felt brave enough to jump into the salt water pool. When I was in the military I spent most of my time in the south pacific and was an avid scuba diver. Mostly out of Hawaii and three years on Guam.

I still have a few more months before I will be ready to start assembling a system so I figured I would spend this time to learn all that I could. I visited Just Dave at his shop and he pointed me to these fourms. He also was very informative.

I was thinking of doing just a FO, or a FOWLR system but after a bit of education from Dave, I think I will take the plunge into a full reef system. Probably around 120-150g.

I would like some information on your club, like how do you join, what kind of fees etc..

Also any and all advice is VERY welcomed. I am here to learn.

If you would like more information on me, my personal web site is

Goibot.com

Take care,
Tracy

Here you go Tracy WTMRAC and everyone else needs to check out his ibot. That thing is bad *** and he probably could fund his whole project by letting people pay to ride it. :p

Oh COOL!

There was just an article about the iBot in the paper here. I looked up the website and sent it to my brother, who is a paraplegic in CA. I was talking about it with him last week and here you are. Amazing!

What a wonderful thing!

Very happy to have you on board! Congratulations on your tank. You're definitely off to the right track and getting good help.

Look forward to meeting you.

Cathy

Thanks for the link Dave. Application has been sent and paid for. Can't believe this hobby is costing me money even before I have a tank LOL.

Look forward to meeting you all,
Tracy

Welcome!! You are about to enter a fantastic and very addictive hobby. Looking forward to meeting you at one of our meetings.
