Since you have the tank next to the window, have you considered removing the blue background?
Calfo says that natural light is the best for coral growth.

That rock looks pretty decent. I don't know that I've seen rock from Haiti before, but at a little over $3 per pound shipped, that's a good deal.
What size sump do you have? I'm using a 15g aquarium under my 40g and it seems to be working out OK.
With the flow you'll have and the fact that you're going BB, I assume this will be an SPS tank, yes?
