Anemone and halimeda

Can someone tell me if an anemone can hard halimeda?I have alot of halimeda growing around a large anemone and its tentacles are touching it all day long!

I dont believe that the stinging nematocysts found in an anemone would recognize algae as a threat the same way it would with the flesh of an encroaching anemone or coral. It sounds like you have the answer how is your halimeda doing?

I agree. The big Condy's are actually havested from within & among seagrasses. If you probably would have discovered it by now.
