Im plannin on a 40g 24x24x17" lwh low tech fowlr tank. Plannning to make it an anemone only tank with maybe a few hardy softies.

Can i keep gbta with rbta? Also what other anemones can i keep with them other than rock/stone anemone.

Here is the fish list im planning on, obvioisly not all of these.

Oc clown pair or maroon clown pair
Fire antena goby 2
Purple antena goby 2
Algae blenny
Royal gramma
2 skunk cleaner
Brittle star
Yellow watchman goby

Please suggest me a blue easy fish other than damsels and which wud be compatible with maroon clown if i go with it.

Can i keep gbta with rbta? Yes, they are the same species

Oc clown pair or maroon clown pair - Ocellaris are better suited to your tank size

All BTA's can be hosed together and touching without issues. I have around 15 BTA's in my tank with different varieties. I also agree on the Ocellaris clown being the best fit for your tank.

Say no to the maroons. They will get to big and mean for a tank this size. Maxi mini nems will work in your set up. Your gobies may have trouble with the nems in this tank if they like to perch.

Wow.. iv never heard of any other btas other than rbta and gbta. Can u please share a pic?

Wow... hope we get them here in india. Rbtas are very expensive here.. gbtas are cheap. So u have an all bta tank?

Not a pure anemone tank. I got a mix of everything. I just really like BTA's and flower anemones.

When I first get them I watch them, especially during the night. I have found if you have a nice piece of live rock with a good hole in it they will love it if you place them in there. Sometimes I would place this rock and nothing else in an empty compartment in my sump FAR away from any pump so it can attach then move it into the display.
