Anemone deflated

Hello, just recently i bought an anemone that is a purple Condylactis. I've had it for about a week or two. He was doing fine until tonight when i found it half deflated. I was gone for two days and he was being fed. His stem is in a whole in my live rock. The light was off, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with his condition. I'm mainly asking if someone could give me some insight on this. My thought is that it was my star. Hes a green brittle start, so something tells me that his spikes might have punctured the anemone. Thank you for your response in advance. :spin3:

Odds are it is normal, anemones will deflate from time to time -- mainly after eating a lot to expel waste.

However, there are times when it is letting you know that something is off, so...

What size tank?
What lights?
What are your parameters (( with numbers ))?
How long has the tank been set up?
What all do you have in the tank?

well all i definitely know is that the tank is 90 gallons, there is 90 watts in full spectrum bulbs and its been set up for about 9 months.
i have a blue damsel, a cardinal, 2 clowns, green brittle star (about 17 in) and a sleeper banded goby. ill have to get back on the levels.
