I want to know if these guys are a nuisance or a blessing, they came on a piece of live rock and have a really bright florecent green when they are under antinics only. The are each about the size of a penny or nickel.

I want to remove them if they are nuisence but dont want to have to because they are have some cool colors. Help please:

they're tulip anemones, related to majanos, some keep them in their tanks with no issues, I think they're pretty cool, but wouldn't put them in a huge tank, as they spread readily, depends on if you like them or not

they didnt look like aiptasia to me, to thick/short of a base and to thick tenticales

Any of you think they could do any harm if I decided to keep the piece in my FOWLR tank?

btw, i dont mind if they spread in there, it would look nice if the took over the LR in there instead of leaving it blank

Majano anemones are no set particular anemones. Rather, they include a group of similar anemones as well, so, at the moment, it is 'safe' to call them 'majano' anemones.

I think the biggest concern I would have is them annoying my corals, but since you don't have any, and these little guys are cute, it would probably be fine. I don't have any experience with them, so take it for what it's worth.

They're tulip anemones. I've got two in my 120 gallon tank for the last four months and they haven't spread, although they have grown pretty big. I don't feed them, I just let them eat what they can catch.

I like them because they're no maintenance and not picky about tank placement or lighting so I can move them anywhere in the tank if I decide that the spot they are in would look better with something else.
